Quality Engineer

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Louisville, KY within the construction industry.

Quality Engineer Job Summary:

· $75,000 - $90,000 5% bonus

· 8 - 5, Monday - Friday, minimal travel (generally day trips)

· Ensure that ALS, welded deck, and press box products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations

· Ownership and responsibility for company quality standards

· Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the manufacturing process, from receiving inspection to shipment

· Identify process optimization and efficiency enhancement opportunities within the manufacturing process to minimize defects and improve overall quality

· Perform audits (internal, external, product, etc.) for compliance with ISO 9001 and AISC industry standards

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

· BSME or BSIE preferred, not required

· Strong background in quality control processes, problem solving, project management, and commitment to high standards for product quality and consistency

· 3 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a focus on aluminum and steel

· Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical process control (SPC), and quality assurance methodologies

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions

· Certification(s) in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) helpful
