Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a prominent client in Canton, MS. within the Automotive industry. We are currently hiring Supervisors on 1st and 2nd shifts.
Supervisors shall possess a proficient knowledge of quality inspection in a production and/or warehouse environment. Supervisors will assist the Operations Managers and Coordinators with project management, account development, and driving customer satisfaction.
Supervisor (Quality Inspection) Job Summary:
- $22 per hour DOE
- 1st and 2nd shift
- Temp to HIRE

Supervisor (Quality Inspection) Responsibilities:
- Develop or improve standardized work instructions to support both customer and supplier inspection and rework projects
- Understand and meet customer production, quality, and delivery time expectations.
- Have the capability to evaluate all support staff for efficiency, accuracy, competence of duty and make recommendations to senior staff for worker retention and promotability
- Drive customer service through regular customer interaction and escalating opportunities for improvement promptly
- Read, comprehend, and apply written work instruction
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects
- Verify and correct project documentation
- Perform layered audits (people, parts, process, paperwork, protection)
- Supervise to ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures
- Assist with problem-solving customer complaints using various problem solving and Root Cause Analysis methods
- Ability to use gages (calipers, micrometers, scales, etc)
Supervisor (Quality Inspection) Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize activities, and complete assignments on time
- Capable of effectively working in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working minimum supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and manipulate weights of 10-50 pounds for extended periods
- Hand/eye coordination and arm/hand/finger dexterity
