• Troubleshoot die problems on the manufacturing floor as they arise.
• Lays out and performs bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair dies / jigs / fixtures or special tools.
• Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork.
• Supports engineering needs in the design, fabrication, installation, modification and repair of tooling and fixtures.
• Asses' new tools and makes revisions if needed.
• Make tool reports of finished tools. Available shifts : Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening)Job requirements :
• Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for 10hr shifts and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Background in mathematics, mechanical drawing and machine shop practices.
• Requires successful completion of clients Forklift Certification / Indoor Crane Training and Safe Lifting Operations Training.
• Previous experience or formal apprenticeship program required.
