- Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard truck
- Ensure that trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading
- Perform daily safety checks on yard truck and report any issues to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Communicate with other yard personnel and management to ensure efficient operations
- Backing up trailers and moving them in a timely manner
- Maintaining trailer yard integrity and accuracy
- Inspecting trailers for safety and security
- Move trailers from lot to dock doors and back to lotAvailable shifts : Shift Timings : 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) and 3rd Shift (Night)Job requirements :
- Knowledge of the following or experience
- Must have a valid Class A CDL license
- Must have a valid medical card
- Must have a TWIC Badge
- Must be at least 21 years old to qualify
- Must have a safe driving record
- No reckless driving tickets in the past 10 years
- No rear end accidents or rollovers in the last 5 years
- No Drug or Alcohol violations in the past 10 years.
- No more than 1 DUI or DWI lifetime
- Criminal records will be reviewed individually
