Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller/Loan Generalist to join our team. As a Teller/Loan Generalist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting Credit Union products and services.

Responsibilities:

- Process customer transactions promptly and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
- Assist customers with account inquiries and problem resolution
- Promote Credit Union products and services to meet member needs
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to cash handling procedures
- Identify fraudulent activity and follow proper fraud prevention protocols
- Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in cash handling or retail banking preferred but not required
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and perform retail math calculations
- Knowledge of upselling techniques
- Familiarity with loan origination processes is a plus
- Understanding of cash management principles
- Ability to detect and prevent fraud effectively
