Job Title : Customer Service Representative

Location : Thorofare, NJ

Schedule : 2nd Shift, 3pm-11pm (Sunday-Friday)

Pay : $20 / hour

Reports To : Customer Service Supervisor

Function : Customer Service

Position Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers.

This role involves interacting with customers via phone and email, processing orders received through various channels, and maintaining positive customer relations.

You will coordinate with different departments to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Represent the company positively through professional and friendly communications with customers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our products.
  • Process and enter orders received by phone, voice mail, fax, and internet into the Produce Pro system.
  • Manage daily orders for select customers and ensure all orders are entered accurately and on time.
  • Keep customers informed about prices, shipping dates, delays, and other relevant information.
  • Follow up with customers regarding the status of their orders, including any changes or issues.
  • Resolve customer issues, such as shipping or invoicing problems, or direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Maintain detailed customer profiles and exercise professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions.
  • Work Sundays and holidays as required based on company schedules.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications :

  • High School diploma with at least six (6) months of customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service abilities with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Produce Pro software.
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
