1st Shift General labor Warehouse Associates Located in Joliet / Elwood, IL

Job Details for 1st Shift General labor Warehouse Associates :

• Schedule : Monday-Friday
• OT : Mandatory Saturdays during Peak Times
• Shift : 1st shift 6 : 00AM- 3 : 30PM
• Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour ($19 with weekly attendance incentive)

Job Responsibilities & Description for 1st Shift General labor Warehouse Associates :

• Secure and unsecure all metal material that the warehouse receives and ships out
• Be able to operate wood cutting saws and cut lumber. Block and Brace metal products.
• Will work with 1 and 2 metal banding and nylon straps. A 1 tighter and 2 tighter with cutters will be used with banding.

A binder bar may be used for metal extensions with banding material. Chains and metal binders may be used to secure loads

Cut inbound seal on container doors with bolt cutters. Cut all metal banding from inbound metals materials on the LRPs.

Remove carefully to avoid damage.

Job Requirements for 1st Shift General labor Warehouse Associates :

• Working knowledge of tools
• Ability to stand, walk and lift for long periods of time
• Ability to follow directions and work as a team
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
