PeopleTec is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support our efforts in Niceville/Fort Walton Beach at Eglin Air Force Base. This position is to provide systems engineering support to a United States Air Force (USAF) advanced technology program office. The USAF advanced technology program office has a requirement to develop digital engineering processes and artifacts that will assist in modernizing the USAF early Test & Evaluation (T&E) flight test planning processes.

Duties:

• Provide systems, digital, and model-based engineering support to the development of the USAF advanced technology program office and its adoption, integration and testing of flight test planning processes
• Assist with USAF stakeholder engagement on T&E requirements planning, early and continuous evaluation and successful execution
• Analyze stakeholder T&E processes to propose solutions that create efficiencies, reduce costs, and ultimately reduce the amount of time it takes to complete the required processes
• Define and understand all data elements and attributes for stakeholder T&E processes
• Perform assessments of USAF advanced technology program office system design requirements associated with test planning and execution and develop those requirements and their allocation to processes using MBSE models
• Analyze, evaluate and report inefficiencies in current systems and digital engineering practices and provide recommendations to the customer that communicates mission benefits
• Generate and maintain engineering models and documentation that provide analyses that inform USAF T&E decisions
• Assist program leadership in identifying program risks, issues, and opportunities related to cost, schedule, and technical performance while ensuring that effective mitigation strategies are developed
• Provide status of efforts to program leadership as required

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Mid-level experience with conducting requirements analysis, traceability, verification, and validation, using SysML
• Working technical knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
• Experience with working within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Ability to work effectively with others as well as independently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Travel: Less than 15%
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. If required, there may be a requirement to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, or related field

Desired Skills:

• Experience with MBSE tools such as Magic Draw or Cameo Enterprise Architecture
• OCSMP certified
• Experience with USAF Platform ONE, USAF Cloud One, and/or Eglin AFB’s secure cloud environment, FENCES
• Experience with the development, WOSA compliance, integration, system level qualification, test planning and execution, fielding, for USAF missile flight testing
• Experience with hypersonics programs
