We are seeking a caring and empathetic person who loves helping humans and animals alike. You will ensure our clients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable and will be the first and last impression of our hospital.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Animal handling and restraint
  • Assist doctors and technicians with medical treatments, diagnostic tests, and procedures
  • Obtain health history from clients and ensure documentation is accurate and complete within the electronic medical record
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment and patient areas
  • Restock and organize medical supplies
  • Educate clients on wellness plans, food, and products sold in the waiting room
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the Nursing and Vet Team
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, end-of-day reports, and deposits
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in a polite and timely manner, both in person and over the phone
  • Admit patients : ensuring that the patient is weighed, and all information is current
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, record keeping, and organization, and provide estimates and invoices for payment
  • Process financial transactions accurately
  • Constantly advance your knowledgebase and skill set
