Job Title: Project Manager - Food Industry

Location: Van Buren, AR

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee our manufacturing improvements and expansions and contribute to our mission of delivering quality food products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in our continuing growth and success.

Job Description:

The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects from conception through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Quality assurance
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct work experience in project management, specifically in the food industry
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management
  • Proficiency in handling complex, multifaceted projects while demonstrating superior leadership skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills -Working knowledge of production operations and food safety regulations (e.g., GFSI, FDA and/or USDA,).
