Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New York, Inc. is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Pennsauken, NJ

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for financial operations including bookkeeping, analyses, and reporting.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
  • Performs bookkeeping for numerous entities including bank and investment account reconciliations, bill-paying, and cash flow tracking. Journalizing activity and automating where possible.
  • Uses or learns Quicken, Quickbooks, and Sage Intacct accounting software.
  • Contributes meaningfully to establishing and maintaining organizational tools for this highly complex platform.
  • Prepares reports and presentations as well as maintains files, records, and correspondence.
  • Ensures that information is complete, accurate and timely and in accordance with all established guidelines.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement and creates effective solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Works independently on ad-hoc projects and analysis as directed by leadership.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
  • Must have 3 plus years' experience performing similar work. Degree in accounting helpful but not required.
  • Expert level skills in Excel needed. Outlook and Word experience helpful.
  • Must be able to review own work, utilizing control totals and check-fields.
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, and information.
  • Self-directed and able to complete work independently.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
  • Must have worked in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Multitasking - Shifts back and forth as needed between two or more activities or sources of information. Can handle more than one assignment or responsibility during a given time period.
