Required Qualifications:
- High School level plus some advanced training;
- Minimum of 3 year experience
- Experience working on Computer Configuration/Deployments,
- Expereince with Service/Help Desk (Tier 2 support)
- Expereince with Desktop support (Tier 3 support)
- Experience in customer facing role either remote or face to face.
- Experience working with/deploying/troubleshooting issues with Enterprise Images and creating updates.
- Must be a US. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Preferred Qualifictaions:
- Active Public Trust security clearance.

Peraton is seeking a Computer Technician to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for computer configuration/deployments, loading software, computer imaging and knowledge of Wins OS along with experience in trouble shooting hardware and Software Issues.
What you’ll do:
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience configuring, troubleshooting, and imaging/installing Windows 10/11 on laptops and desktops.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience installing and configuring third-party software and data recovery from backups (and/or other systems).
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience troubleshooting Windows 10 operating-system software, Microsoft Office, and common Enterprise software.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience with creating, updating, monitoring, and closing incidents in an automated ticketing system.
- Experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable but not required.
- Experience with Dell laptops, desktops and workstations is highly desirable but not required.
- Provides expert and second tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians.
- Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems.
- Tests, trains, and fields support to customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services.
- Provides expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoots products, and modifies products to customer requirements.
- Maintains network stability through advanced troubleshooting, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to provide the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time to Repair.
