We are Hiring! Peraton is looking for a .NET Developer. The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting the DOS eOPF Program. T his is a Hybrid position, must be able to work onsite at least one day a month. The qualified candidate must be local to the DMV area.

What you will do:

• Provides expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based, technical, and business software systems.
• Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
• Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
• Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
• Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.
• Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
• Interfaces with government engineers/architects regarding architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on needs and anticipated technology advances.
• Defines templates and sets best standards and practices that development teams can utilize.
• Coordinates with platform vendors for issues and support requests.
• Works with operations personnel and application users to troubleshoot issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Experience working with one or more of the following:
  • C#, Visual Basic
  • .NET Framework
  • MVC
  • Angular,
  • JavaScript
  • JSON
  • Oracle, PL/SQL
  • Web Services
  • HTML/HTML5.
• Experience working in agile, software development, and production environments.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a full stack developer.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Hold an active government clearance.
