Peraton is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.

This position is located On-Site in Tallahassee, FL.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
• Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status
• Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address business needs
• Documents all problems and assists in their resolution
• Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners
• Performs quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience or a High School Diploma and 9 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S.Citizen or a Green Card holder.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance
• Minimum 5 years with Agile Software Development
• Minimum 5 years with creating test scripts
• Minimum 5 years with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manual testing
• Minimum 5 years with Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups to discuss business processes
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques
• Minimum 5 years of experience in translating functional specifications into technical specifications from which programmers can construct the solution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in translating information from meetings and written materials into process models and/or process flow models
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with various stakeholders and team members to understand requirements, understand data needs, and resolve issues
• Minimum 5 years of experience creating technical documentation
