Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Systems Administration, Senior Associate at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
What you will do:
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
IAT Level II (COMPTIA Security ) or higher
Training/certifications in relevant Microsoft/Linux operating systems or must be acquired within 6 months of hire
Desired qualifications:
Experience with Army Intelligence Programs of Record
DCGS
CPCE
Prophet Enhanced
CD-1 and AIDP
Experience with Army Simulations Programs of Record
JCATS
IEWTPT
MUSE
3D Modeling
Ability to develop and train peers and subordinates
VM Ware experience
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/16/19 including configuration of services, certificate service, managing geographically dispersed serves, file services management, monitoring event longs, proactively identifying and correcting potential problems.
SQL administration

What you will need:
2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
Top Secret SCI with C/I Poly security clearance. Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
