ResponsibilitiesPeraton is looking for a Systems Administrator Associate for the Military Intelligence Center of Excellence (MIITS Contract) supporting the G6 Systems Operations Desktop team.

ResponsibilitiesPeraton is looking for a Systems Administrator Associate for the Military Intelligence Center of Excellence (MIITS Contract) supporting the G6 Systems Operations Desktop team.
What you will do:
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers, monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
- Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Responsibilities also include:
- Patching workstation operating systems such as Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Using VMware Horizon to automate deployment of VM images.
- Troubleshoot PCs, zero client hardware, and printers.
- Apply operating systems and applications STIGs for security compliance
- Provide end user support.
- Bachelor's degree with 0 years of related experience; 4 years direct relevant experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree.
- TS/SCI security clearance, or ability to obtain
- Security certification
- Experience with VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon
- Automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Chef or similar software
- Relevant Microsoft or VMware Certifications
