**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team as a Barista Lead. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista Lead, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and light snacks in a fast-paced cafe environment, as well as lead a team of baristas.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes

- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area

- Follow food safety standards in food preparation and storage

- Provide excellent customer service to all guests

- Upsell cafe products and merchandise to customers

- Assist in opening and closing duties as needed

- Lead a team of Baristas

- Train all new baristas on day to day operations

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience working as a Barista or in a similar role

- Previous expereince on a manuel espresso machine

- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor

- Basic understanding of coffee preparation techniques

- Proficient in sales techniques to drive revenue

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
