Perdido Realty is a locally owned and operated luxury vacation rental company committed to providing exceptional hospitality to our owners and guests. Our operations are centralized on Perdido Key to maintain quality and ensure quick responsiveness. We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Guest Service Agent who possesses a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service.

The Guest Service Agent will be responsible for professionally greeting guests and owners. In this fast-paced role, agents will need the ability to multitask and actively listen while managing daily tasks. It is essential to be comfortable with multiple software systems and to be detail-oriented with processes to ensure that reservation data is accurately handled. As a frontline representative, you will play a key role in ensuring that guests' vacations start positively and in generating revenue for the company through excellent customer service.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Complete the check-in/out process efficiently, which includes preparing all necessary documents for a reservation.
• Navigate software programs to interact with client reservations, input guest-requested maintenance tasks, and collect payments.
• Communicate with guests regarding their reservation, unit, complex, and complex amenities.
• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with the highest level of customer service. These calls will include new reservation inquiries, reported issues, and updating clients on the status of any communicated items.
• Proactively listen and research client concerns to create a win/win scenario for the client and the company.
• Provide administrative support to the Guest Services Manager to ensure all duties and tasks are completed promptly.
• As needed, deliver requested items such as keys, parking passes, household items, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to stand for long periods.
• The employee must be able to raise objects from a lower to a higher position or move objects horizontally from position to position.
• Employee must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Special Requirements:

• Valid driving license with a good driving record and reliable transportation. Valid auto insurance is required.
• Subject to pre-employment and/or random drug screening.
• Subject to a background check.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.
• May require to work weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
