They co-create and supply partners with hot-cooked products including sauces, cheese sauces, soups, chilis and marinades. Our cold-processed products include dressings, sauces, spreads, and batters.

Job Purpose

Direct and Manage plant production activities across multiple shifts and departments to produce products that meet established quality, customer service, safety, innovation, and cost metrics consistent with schedules and policies. Department responsibility includes all production, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, Scheduling, and Inventory.

• Manage and effectively utilize the production capacity, manpower, equipment, and outside resources through planning, organizing, and scheduling to minimize losses.
• Work within the framework of the budget to optimize company profitability.
• Work with Sales, Customer Service, and Scheduling team to obtain a clear picture of what production should look like.
• Ensure that Inventory levels are adequate and reliable and updated within our internal system to have smooth production process.
• In collaboration of sales and Customer Service, ensure customer quality standards are met in all aspects of manufacturing.
• Be the leader of Continuous Improvement.
• Oversee Sanitation and Compliance in conjunction with Quality.
• Work with our offsite Warehouse Manager to ensure adequate inventory levels and keep up with demand.
• Assign Inventory Manager 3PL inventory duties to our 3PL site, ensure proper and adequate information is being kept and utilized.
• Work with Warehouse Manager to sustain reliable methods of Operation that work with our customer needs and our capacity to ship.
• Enforce compliance with company rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and fair work environment for plant workers and visitors.
• Ensure operation of manufacturing lines will meet Performance Standards for each work center and product.
• Provide an atmosphere of positive professional development and set goals for Department leads.
• Provide training tools and clear pathways alongside HR for Managers and Supervisors.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure equipment is being maintained and kept to optimal standards of operation.

10 years in an Operation’s Management role in food industry

Bachelor’s Degree (University or Technical School) Related field of study: Business, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or related
