About Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC)Following 9/11, the community and civic planning process that resulted in the World Trade Center master plan in 2003 envisioned a new performing arts center as one of the anchors of the site. The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) opened in the Fall of 2023 realizing that plan and becoming the new home for emergent and established artists in theater, dance, music, opera, and multi-disciplinary performance from New York and the world in downtown Manhattan.

The rolePAC NYC is looking for a driven, and mission-oriented Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships to build and execute PAC NYC’s corporate partnerships and giving strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a start-up team that will cultivate a network of donors and corporate partners and focused on providing a world-class experience to all invested stakeholders. The Associate Director should have experience ideating and executing a robust corporate giving strategy, designed to engage prospective corporate partners and support existing relationships, with a view to meeting larger organizational fundraising goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the senior Development team, ideate and execute an organizational corporate giving strategy.
  • Research and identify potential corporate partners.
  • Aggressively mine and pursue contact lists, with the aim of securing tours and meetings to assess partnership viability and brand alignment.
  • Target viable prospective partners, developing strategies to yield their financial support.
  • Work across departments to maintain a healthy pipeline of partner opportunities (sponsorships, corporate memberships, and other bespoke partnerships that yield revenue). Move opportunities through the sales cycle and cross-sell when applicable.
  • Design and package creative partnership concepts, as well as opportunities/benefits/ROI in decks, sales sheets, and other business correspondence.
  • Pitch partnerships to corporate giving prospects and close deals.
  • Negotiate and execute partner agreements.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term strategic development of all corporate accounts.
  • Work across departments (Events, Marketing, Communications, Audience Services and restaurant/catering) to fulfill contractual deal terms and benefits, developing and implementing systems for turnkey fulfillment whenever possible.
  • Conceive and execute partnership activations, events and marketing initiatives, prioritizing efforts that mutually benefit PAC NYC and partner brands and business objectives.
  • Brief and facilitate executive meetings with corporate partners.
  • Update and maintain data in PAC NYC’s CRM on a daily basis.
  • Report account status and YTD activity towards annual goal on a weekly basis, or as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
What It Takes To Be Successful In The Role
  • 5 years in corporate giving and corporate relationship building.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A team player who doesn't look at any task as too small.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management.
  • Proficiency in using donor databases and CRM software, such as Spektrix.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Passion for the performing arts and a commitment to PAC NYC's mission.
