Responsibilities:

RHEL Linux Based Systems

• Support servers, desktops and clusters
• System imaging and patching
• End user application installation and support
• System software installation and support
• Security product installation and support
• Software licensing
• Basic hardware support
• Basic networking capability
• Problem solving capability
• Monitor system health, logs, configurations, compliance
• Generate system documentation

Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in a technical support role, Red Hat Linux.
• Excellent team player and capable of working independently when necessary.
• Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
• Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
• Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
• Forward thinking recommend new products and technologies as appropriate.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
