Job DescriptionWe currently have a career opportunity for a Cloud DevOps SME to join our team located Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.
The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building out efficient development pipelines, managing software infrastructure environments, and automating deployment and build environments for both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, GIT, Sonarcube, Azure, AWS, and JIRA. They should be highly skilled in automation, integration, and be well-versed in Governance and Security by design. The ability to understand data concepts and API first principles is essential for the role.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable development pipelines.
  • Manage and maintain software infrastructure environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Automate deployment and build environments to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Utilize Snowflake, GIT, Sonarcube, Azure, AWS, and JIRA to manage and optimize development processes.
  • Implement best practices for software development, deployment, and version control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between systems.
  • Ensure Governance and Security by design principles are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data concepts and promote API first principles
Qualifications
  • Solid experience in building and maintaining development pipelines and software infrastructure environments.
  • Proficient in Snowflake, GIT, Sonarcube, Azure, AWS, and JIRA.
  • Strong knowledge of automation and integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Governance and Security by design principles.
  • Understanding of data concepts and ability to promote API first principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps or related areas are a plus.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
