About the role

The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of regular and recurring deposit operations functions, including debit card disputes, ATM products, maintaining compliance with Reg E requirements, and special projects as assigned.

Position is located in Henderson and is not a remote position.

What you will do

• Performs tasks associated with POS and ACH transaction disputes. Receives, submits and tracks these transactions from start to finish to ensure timely documentation, submission and completion in compliance with Regulation E.
• Processes deposit holds to ensure compliance with Regulation CC. Assists branches with completion of deposit hold notifications, places holds on the system and ensures timely notification of hold placement is provided to customers.
• Prepares reporting for ATM/POS transactions and works with card processor to resolve discrepancies.
• Reviews consolidated reports to identify and take action on items needing follow up, including placing holds on mobile deposits, correcting transactions incorrectly processed as manual interest payments or working with branches on these items.
• Troubleshoots service issues and coordinates with various departments as needed in the identification and resolution of operational issues.
• Conducts file maintenance review to ensure all files associated with customer accounts are accurate, complete, and free of errors.
• Performs tasks to ensure accurate imaging of information to our retention system.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of banking experience preferred.
