Description

Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring full time Facilities Maintenance Technicians for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. Facilities Maintenance Technicians will perform general maintenance such as plumbing, carpentry, office furniture assemblies, heating ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) routine inspections, as well as groundskeeping. This full time Facilities Maintenance Technician position is based out of Livonia, MI offers AM Day shifts and Overtime. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Facilities Maintenance Technician position below are strongly encouraged to apply. Day shifts Overtime available.

Shift Schedule:

  • AM Day shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed)
  • Must be able to work up to 6 days a week as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office furniture assemblies, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) routine inspections
  • Perform minor groundskeeping and equipment troubleshooting

Retirees and veterans are welcome

Qualifications


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid US driver's license with minimum 2 years driving experience in the US 
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Minimum 6 months of facilities maintenance experience, or equivalent in class instruction
  • Ability to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical and equipment malfunctions (such as tire machine or vehicle hoist)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide all units of measurement, including fractions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic skills in the use of power and hand tools
  • Basic power and hand tools required (hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills to enter information into a work order system and research repair methods as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Skilled in the use of a forklift and scissor lift
  • General maintenance experience
