Performance Food Group is Hiring a Senior Accounting Coordinator, Accounts Receivable Near Nebraska, NE
Job Summary: Senior Accounting Coordinator, Accounts Receivable, responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s receivables to ensure accurate and timely collection of outstanding invoices. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle financial transactions efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing: Record and apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts.
- Collections: Follow up on overdue invoices, send reminders, and contact customers to ensure prompt payment.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Also, reconciliation of customer contract balances.
- Customer Relations: Address customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, including aging reports and collections summaries.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, correspondence, and actions related to accounts receivable.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Hybrid, after the training period 2 days in office are required
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
