Salary Range: $18.00/hour & up (Depending on experience)

Job Overview:

The Diesel Mechanic Technician is a full-time position with typical hours on Sunday-Wednesday from 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Additional hours may be required. This position is responsible for service and maintenance for service and maintenance in the fleet. The Diesel Mechanic Technician should be mechanically inclined and be willing to work in a shop environment.

This is a 100% on-site (non-remote) position in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This position requires regular and physical attendance.

Essential Functions:

· Engine minor/major diagnosing and repairs.

· Drive train minor/major diagnosing and repairs.

· Electronic diesel engine diagnosing and repair.

· Performs HVAC diagnostics and repairs.

· Performs ABS diagnostics and repairs.

· Performs air brake diagnostics and repairs.

· Performs wheel-end repairs and adjustments.

· Performs electrical systems diagnostics and repairs.

· Performs suspension and steering diagnostics and repairs.

· Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) accurately and efficiently.

· Performs annual DOT inspections.

· Performs general truck and trailer repairs as well as and repairs on all other equipment.

· Ability to operate all equipment and tools as trained and operate independently and as a team member.

· Responsible for adhering to all warranty policies and procedures.

· Performs safety inspections of equipment and prepares required safety documentation.

· Inspects and performs work under the vehicle.

· Ability to use electronic technical manuals for diagnostics and repair.

· Provides accurate documentation on repair orders.

· Prepares vehicle records and submits details of the work order through the TMT software.

· Follows safety compliance and shop standards.

· Supports any other special projects the Shop Foreman might need assistance with.

· This position is designated as “safety sensitive” under Arkansas Act 593 of 2017, an amendment to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016, meaning that a person performing this position under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to health or safety.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications:

· Must have experience in welding.

· At least one year of related experience; preferred but not required.

· Trucking experience a huge plus!

· High School Degree or GED; preferred but not required.

· Truck MA – Master ASE Technician; preferred but not required.

· Truck TT – Top Grade Technician; preferred but not required.

· Truck MT – Mid Grade Technician; preferred but not required.
