This role requires at least 5 years of experience in Automotive Service Management, although a background in a High-Volume Dealership is a plus but not mandatory. Our top priority is ensuring customer satisfaction, which we achieve through retaining skilled technicians. To qualify for this position, you must possess excellent communication and team-building skills, and a proven track record of success in hitting or exceeding profitability goals. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, building a loyal client base, driving new business, controlling costs, developing and maintaining an excellent team setting and achieving sales and profit objectives and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction scores.

- Hire, train, engage, motivate, and manage the careers of all service department staff.
- Direct and schedule the career activities of all team members.
- monitor payroll and effective labor rate.
- Forecast revenue goals and set objectives for the department.
- Organize workflow to deliver quality work efficiently and timely.
- Cross collaboration with other internal departments and across the organization
- Understand and comply with all current federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
- Communicate effectively with clients about needed automotive maintenance and repairs.
- Handle and resolve client concerns.
- 5-years of Dealership Manager Experience (OEM) is a Big Consideration, But Not Required.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and managerial skills
- Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
