CUSTOMER SERVICEREPRESENTATIVE (LICENSE REQUIRED)

MUST HAVE an active 4-40 CSRlicense or 2-20 General Lines license

Primary JobDuties/Responsibilities - Training Provided

  • Answer and return inbound customer calls
  • Process payments
  • Handle underwriting requests in a timely manner
  • Accurate documentation into Agency Management System
  • Teamwork
  • Quote and make appropriate changes to insurance policy coverage, drivers and policy level data
  • Provide systems support to agents
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Recognize that every call presents the opportunity to retain good business by providing service to agents and policy holders on policy coverage for changes to existing lines or products
  • Having the capacity, ability and desire to learn
  • Math skills are a must
  • Experience in MS Office

Qualifications:

Must have an active 4-40 CSRlicense or 2-20 General Lines license

  • 2-5 years of relative insurance experience is preferred **COMMERCIAL experience would be EXTREMELY Beneficial**
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Must possess good phone etiquette skills
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated job stability
  • Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent customer service experience
