Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Labor Team Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, waterproofing, and drainage systems, with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of laborers effectively. As a Labor Team Foreman, you will oversee daily operations, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities Supervision and Leadership
· Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of laborers to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.
· Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance and training as needed.
· Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Project Management
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily activities on job sites to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Safety and Compliance
· Enforce all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
· Conduct safety meetings and training sessions with the team.
· Identify and address potential hazards promptly.
Quality Control
· Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
· Conduct inspections and tests to verify the integrity of waterproofing and drainage systems.
· Resolve any issues or deficiencies promptly.
Communication
· Maintain clear and open communication with project managers, clients, and team members.
· Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
· Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Administrative Duties
· Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress.
· Prepare reports and documentation as required.
· Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies and materials.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, waterproofing, or drainage systems.
· Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
