Basic Job Description:
The Assembler is responsible for installing components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies on the production line(s) and mechanical tasks as they apply to the production or repairs of products, and diagnosing hydraulic components and diesel engines.
Minimum Job Duties:
- Assists in the installation of components on the production line.
- Performs assembly tasks as per standard works.
- Lifts/moves parts and assemblies to and onto the production line.
- Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret basic drawings/specifications and work instructions.
- Operates and effectively uses hand and power tools and all applicable measurement equipment.
- Possesses a basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and has manual dexterity.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an asset
- Must Be able to read a tape measure and plans.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
