Quality Management Systems Coordinator

International company headquartered in Troy, MI is seeking a bright, motivated, and intelligent quality driven individual, with strong presentation and writing skills. We are operating in the quality assurance and international standards industry, i.e.., ISO 9001 and derivative standards. This position will be critical to the overall success of the company and what we do daily. If you have worked hands on in quality or on the operations side and consider yourself a quality guru, then this is the role for you! Ideal candidate will have a foundation in the quality assurance field, perhaps working in automotive supply chain with an understanding of product quality, nonconformance remediation, and fundamental quality principles. This is an in-office position, working in our compliance department with significant growth potential.

Responsibilities:

· Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations.

· Assisting the Programs & Accreditations Manager with witness audit scheduling.

· Serving on corrective action teams.

· Grading technical area training modules.

· Assisting in planning PJR’s annual auditor training, including presentation delivery, as needed.

· Completion of some field audits on a monthly basis. We will qualify you as a Lead Auditor.

· Writing monthly Newsletter.

· Management of PJR’s internal audit program, including scheduling, working with the assigned auditor, scheduling corrective action meetings, and updating the corrective action log.

Skills:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to construct professional and grammatically correct emails and reports.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)

· 3-5 years in quality as a quality manager, quality coordinator, quality analyst, quality assurance, compliance officer etc. Work experience on the business side is also welcome.

· Ability to travel.
