Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our IT team and ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and systems. Candidate would be responsible for handling a variety of support service requests and installations. This relates to all technology, including the following: workstations, servers, printers, networks, phones, faxes, and vendor specific hardware and software.
Duties:
- Manage and lead the IT team, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to improve overall efficiency
- Assists with administering and maintaining infrastructure
- Assist with lateral integration of company database information
- Assist with troubleshooting and supporting company databases
- Assists with administering and maintaining WAN, LAN, Routers, Firewalls, and Security
- Setup, Administration, Maintenance, and perform hands-on fixes at the desktop, server, network level, including install/configure and support of hardware/software and peripheral components, providing additional support when necessary.
- Performs basic and more complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving and disaster recovery.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly
- Diagnosis skills of technical issues
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades
- Interacts with internal and external clients to resolve issues
- Moderate to advanced support for remote access solutions and implementation: VPN, Terminal Services
- Participates in the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware and other IT supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions
- Respond to and resolve IT internal and external service requests via phone, email, remotely and in person
- Willingness to become familiar with various dairy client hardware and software.
- Provide after-hours IT support as needed
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills adapting to different applications as needed
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Oversee network security measures, including firewall and vendor management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Proven experience in IT management roles (5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, relational database systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
- Experience managing and administering IT infrastructure (such as MS Exchange/O365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and VPN)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper-V/VMWare)
- Experience supporting Windows desktop and server technologies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
