Join the dynamic team at Person County Group Homes, where positivity and collaboration fuel our dedication to excellence in supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).

We are currently seeking a dedicated Caregiver for one of our beautiful ICF Group Homes for evening shifts (approximately 3 PM to 11 PM). This role offers a stable, set schedule that includes shifts on three designated weekdays and every other weekend, ensuring consistency for both you and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide essential support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and evening routines.
Implement and adapt individualized care plans to enhance each resident's quality of life.
Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes resident independence.
Facilitate and participate in evening group activities, encouraging engagement and social interaction.
Maintain detailed records of progress and daily activities, ensuring that client needs are met and documented.

Qualifications:

A passion for caregiving and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on lives.
Previous experience in a caregiving role makes the best candidates for this role, preferably with adults with IDD.
Ability to work a consistent evening shift, providing reliability and stability in our group home setting.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit that reflects our culture of positivity and teamwork.
A proactive approach, prioritizing the needs and well-being of our clients.
Minimum educational requirement: GED or higher.
A valid Driver’s License is required for most full-time roles, as transporting clients using company-owned vehicles is an occasional, yet essential, job function.
