**Job Title:** Events Sales Manager

We are excited to announce the opening of our new restaurant in Soho, NYC, and are looking for a dynamic and passionate Events Sales Manager to lead our Events Department. **Position Overview:**
As the Events Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering our annual sales plan by leading the events team to success. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing all aspects of event planning and execution, and ensuring that our guests experience the highest level of service. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in event sales within the restaurant industry in NYC who is looking to take on a leadership role in a vibrant, growing company.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Sales Leadership:** Lead the Events Department in achieving the annual sales plan, with a focus on pipeline conversion, enquiry handling, pricing, and communication strategies.
- **Event Management:** Oversee all stages of event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external providers.
- **Revenue Growth:** Review and enhance the current F&B offerings to drive incremental events revenue. Regularly evaluate minimum spends, taking into account market trends, inflation, and peak dates.
- **Operational Oversight:** Manage all administrative and operational aspects of buyout events, ensuring processes are followed and systems are utilized efficiently.
- **Brand Alignment:** Ensure all event listings and marketing materials are on brand and effectively target the right audience. Continuously update email templates and customer journey touchpoints to improve conversion rates.
- **Corporate Relations:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and concierges, positioning our restaurant as a top choice for events in the city.
- **Team Management:** Lead, mentor, and inspire the Events Department, fostering a positive work environment where team members are engaged and aligned with the company’s goals.
- **KPI Monitoring:** Set, track, and achieve individual and team KPIs, providing regular reports and updates to key stakeholders.
- **Sales Strategy:** Develop and implement strategies to drive sales through various channels, including weddings, weekend leisure, group bookings, and concierge/event producer relationships.
**Qualifications:**
- Extensive background in events sales within the restaurant industry, preferably in NYC.
- Proven track record of delivering sales results and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of the NYC events market, with established relationships in the industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Compensation:**
- Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, plus 3% commission on sales.
- Hybrid role with an office located on the second floor of the same building in Soho, NYC.
