Personnel Staffing is Hiring a HVAC Maintenance Technician Near Tuscaloosa, AL
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems).
- Clean and replace air filters.
- Inspect ductwork for leaks and blockages.
- Check refrigerant levels and top off if necessary.
- Test and calibrate thermostats.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
- Perform basic repairs as authorized.
- Maintain detailed service records.
- Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining findings and recommendations.
- HVAC certification (EPA 608 Universal Technician Certification preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC maintenance (or related field).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their operation.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
