Job Summary:

As the Program Executive Director for our family homeless shelter, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to ensure the effective operation and delivery of comprehensive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. This pivotal role encompasses program management, community engagement, staff leadership, and advocacy to address the complex needs of our shelter residents.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee program planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Manage program budgets and contracts efficiently
• Develop staff through training and support for a diverse team
• Lead strategic planning and performance evalh regulations and quality standards
• Advocate for the organization and its mission
• Maintain effective documentation, reporting, and risk management practices

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are necessary. Mileage will be reimbursed
• Three to five years of experience in Program Management or equivalent education
• Demonstrated expertise in budget management and contract administration ∙ Proven background in staff development, particularly for a diverse team

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
