Peterson Cat has a need for an experienced Rental Field Technician based at our Clackamas, OR location.

JOB DUTIES

The Rental Field Technician is responsible to perform maintenance and repairs to heavy and rental equipment in the field, and to provide customer service for internal and external customers. Specific duties include traveling to and from customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on equipment in the field, diagnosing and repairing equipment failure, and maintaining a basic parts inventory on field truck.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience, preferably in heavy and rental equipment industry
• Coursework in diesel technology preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A candidate should possess knowledge of the basics of heavy and rental equipment maintenance and repairs, and familiarity with operation of heavy and rental equipment.
• Experience driving a service truck highly preferred.
• Experience working with customers required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
