role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Job Duties include the following: * Coordinate with stakeholders to identify facilities security needs and requirements. * Oversee the planning, selection, installation, maintenance, updating, and troubleshooting of security fences, alarms, cameras, and other security systems for all Peterson locations. * Administer and maintain facilities access security systems and manage access problems. * Monitor, audit, report on, and document access security systems and procedures. * Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to facility security. * Work with Safety Team to develop and implement security protocols and procedures for Peterson facilities. * Work with Corporate Services Supervisor to plan, select, install, maintain, update, and troubleshoot fleet security systems. * Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. * Respond to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with Peterson departments, law enforcement, and other relevant agencies as necessary. * Develop and maintain relationships with external security vendors and service providers. * Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into overall facility operations and planning. * Prepare and present reports on security metrics, incidents, and trends as needed. * Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging threats, and technological advancements in security systems. * Manage the budget for security-related projects and expenses. * Continuously evaluate and improve security procedures and protocols based on feedback and lessons learned. * Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with vendors, visit branch locations, and conduct site visits and walk-throughs. Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Business Administration or other closely related field; and a minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience in security management, or other closely related field, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
