Petra Stone Company is Hiring a Natural Stone Sales and Design Consultant Near Fairfax, VA
Job DescriptionPetra Stone, Inc., is seeking high-energy, talented sales consultants to generate new business opportunities in the retail, local kitchen/bath, residential remodeling, new home construction, architectural, and light commercial/building markets and further develop existing leads and accounts.
Essential Functions:
Pay: $45,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Essential Functions:
- Increase revenue from established customers and generate additional revenue from new customers by using proper sales techniques, problem-solving skills, and account management.
- Maintain adequate sales activity records and present them to management as requested.
- Assist walk-in customers.
- Estimating: take-offs and proposals.
- Completion of order entries and proposals.
- Retail orders: preparation and material knowledge.
- Current knowledge of all products.
- Assist in the collection of accounts receivable, if necessary.
- Professionally represent the company to existing and potential customers and successfully execute the sales process, including regularly visiting assigned customers.
- Develop and maintain a follow-up system to ensure no prospective customer or bid is unattended.
- Establish goals and objectives related to the position, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals.
- Regularly review and monitor progress against goals and seek assistance as needed. *Communicate effectively with associates, managers, and customers.
- Attend functions as necessary.
- Prior sales, commission-based, and/or account management experience.
- Quota responsibility, understanding of pipeline/sale reporting, and customer service.
- Proven sales track record.
- Ability to self-manage and self-direct activities.
- 2-5 years prior kitchen & bath, remodeling, interior design, stone or tile industry experience preferred.
- Ability and interest in all facets of the natural stone industry, including remodeling and new construction.
- Willingness to go above and beyond the usual call of duty and to outperform personal and professional goals.
- Well organized with great attention to detail.
- Willing to work Saturday Showroom rotation.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
