Responsibilities:

• Achieve maximum store sales, profitability, and growth.
• Oversee merchandising efforts: product display, mix, inventory levels, in-stock levels, and pricing.
• Monitor cash handling, pump reconcilations, drive-offs, and inventory discrepancies.
• Review P&L statements and budgets for assigned stores.
• Track employee hours and turnover.
• Stay informed about competitive market conditions and pricing.
• Communicate policies, procedures, promotions, and directives to store managers.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate store managers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental codes through inspections.
• Conduct monthly store inspections for image and customer service quality.
• Coach store managers to enhance skills and store performance.
• Assist in store meetings and training.
• Foster a friendly, enthusiastic, team-oriented environment.
• Facilitate open communication between management, office staff, and store managers.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and promoting store personnel.
• Manage terminations for underperforming employees.
• Assume operational responsibilities during store manager absences.
• Travel to and supervise assigned store locations.
• Implement new policies and procedures.
• Use sound business judgment in decision-making.
• Collaborate with various company departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend repetitively, kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Follow supervisor directions and give directions to staff.
• Handle exposure to gasoline fumes, cleaning products, and propane fumes.
• Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with at least a half-day visit per store per month for inspections and reports.
