Petroleum Services Group, Inc. (PSG) is a Petroleum Service and Construction company with established accounts across Georgia and Florida. PSG is looking for a full time Petroleum Service Technician. Our corporate office is located in Waycross, GA; however, we are looking for a candidate to live & work out of the Tifton, GA area!

Petroleum Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Report daily to and take directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher on calls to be performed
• Determine issues, perform repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems (dispensers, underground storage tanks, tank monitors and point of sale terminals)
• Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required
• Install, program and test new equipment
• Communicate with Warehouse Manager to verify inventory and maintain truck inventory as needed
• Be available to work at all times when in an "on-call" status rotating schedule

Position Requirements: A service technician is the face of PSG to the customer. Must be able to communicate in a professional and courteous manner

• Operate company service van safely and maintain a good driving record. Keep vehicle clean and service of vehicle maintained
• Electrical knowledge, excellent technical/mechanical abilities and computer skills a must
• Work on dispenser hydraulics and submerged pumping units in a "bent over" position for long periods of time
• Service technician must have the desire, ability and aptitude to learn from their mentor and through industry specific training and coursework. PSG will provide complete and thorough training through a combination of vendor training/certification and monitored field experience.

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

• Moultrie, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
