JOB LOCATION: Albuquerque, NM

POSITION TITLE: Financial Specialist I

STATUS/HOURS: Hourly / Full-time

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Financial Specialist, provide customer service support, clerical duties, maintains travel authorizations, voucher processing, files and, payroll data entry reports in support of professional, technical, administrative, and clerical personnel.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills including working with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Able to operate office equipment (e.g., facsimile machine, copier, and shredder)
  • Ability to handle business sensitive, proprietary, and classified matter
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and effectively interact with multiple working groups and management levels
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team or group environment
  • Must be familiar with or able to develop proficiency in the following applications
    • ATAAPS
    • Concur
    • Share Point
  • Maintain travel authorization and voucher processing
  • Provide payroll data entry and reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

  • Required – MS Office proficient, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of relevant travel/payroll for the private/government sector
  • Requires the ability to obtain/maintain a DOE “L” Access Authorization

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Pay range: $19.00 – $23.00 (based on experience and qualifications)
