Department: RMA Reports to: Valve Assembly ManagerLocation: Nor-Cal Products, Inc. dba Pfeiffer Vacuum Valves & Engineering (Pfeiffer Vacuum V&E)FLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummaryResponsible for providing manufacturing technical support for returned valve product. Receives direction on assignments from Valve Assembly Manager, Product Managers as well as the RMA Coordinator.

Exercise of judgment, discretion, and tact in all business matters and business relationships is required. Duties
25% inside, climate / noise-controlled office, and 75% manufacturing environment; lifting to 50 lbs., and 100 lbs. on occasion with assistance. Eye, hearing, and Cleanroom protective clothing may be required.
Tasks require walking, sitting, bending, reaching, mobility, frequent lifting and pushing/pulling. Work requires computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and data-entry), attention to detail and accuracy. Communication skills including listening and speaking are required for interaction with other employees, vendors, and customers. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks and any stress associated with the duties and responsibilities of this position are essential requirements in the performance of this job.
Secondary duties with added requirements may be assigned from time to time.

- Document the mechanical and testing processes.
- Evaluate and repair returned projects.
- Prepare, input and maintain specific data, in written or spreadsheet format.
- Prepare internal written correspondence.

- Limited technical writing skills to include the preparation of test reports.

- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Ability to effectively use M/S Office, Word, or Excel (or their equivalent).
