Summary:
As a Bench Scientist at Pfizer in Andover, MA, you will play a crucial role in executing immune cell-based assays to support the risk assessment of biologics. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the replenishment of the PBMC cell bank through isolation and cryopreservation, conducting data analysis, and providing general laboratory operational support.
Responsibilities:
- Execute immune cell-based assays to contribute to the risk assessment of Pfizer biologics
- Contribute to the replenishment of the PBMC cell bank (PBMC isolation and cryopreservation)
- Conduct data analysis
- Contribute to general laboratory operational support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required; recent graduates accepted
- A minimum of 1 years of academic or industry experience required
- Proficient in primary cell culture
- Experience with immune cell-based assays, cell banking, and cell culture banking
- Experience handling sterile items
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with data analysis software and basic computer skills needed
- Attention to detail and record keeping skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; must thrive in a team
Rate/Location:
- $40 - $43 per hour
- This is a fully onsite role in Andover, MA
- Monday - Friday; first shift
