• Position under direction of the Outside Supervisor and Professional Staff, this position reports to Golf Department.

Experience Required

• Previous experience at a private Hospitality / Country Club is preferred.
• Ability to anticipate and skilled in multi-tasking at a high level
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent member service skills
• High attention for detail and great organizational skills

Essential Responsibilities

We are looking for energetic go getters, with golf knowledge, who want to enhance the member experience at a private golf club.

The Golf Cart & Bag Services Outside Attendant provides exceptional guest service, assisting members and guests with golf bag and cart services while maintaining an efficient outside service area.

Physical demands are standing for long periods of time, sometimes working in adverse conditions (heat, cold, wind, and rain), and must be able to lift heavy golf bags, crates of golf balls and equipment on a regular basis (appx up to 50lbs).

Duties shall include but not be limited to :

Greets members and their guests. Ensures the highest level of service to exceed their expectations. Maintain a friendly, positive, helpful, and motivated attitude with all members, guests, and fellow employees.

Communicates appropriately and effectively with all departments in respective event set-up or with other related needs.

• Handling and cleaning of members and guests golf clubs.
• Professional handling, set up, maintaining and clean-up of the cart staging, bag drop area, and on-course amenities for daily play.

Assist with pace of play tracking.

Maintain, straighten, and keep cart barn, bag storage, cart washing area, office, accessory & supply storage cleaned, organized, and stocked.

Performs cart maintenance to include batteries, tires, and cart bodies. Stores machinery / equipment as designated. Set up and maintain practice tee, putting green, and short game area with all necessary items such as balls, bag stands, tees, towels, and pins, etc.

This includes re-stocking golf balls, cleaning up broken tees, trash, and keeping both areas and storage places clean, straightened, and organized.

• Responsible for picking the driving range, on a use need and clean pick schedule.
• Performs all work in accordance with job description, policies / procedures, and in the spirit of Wyndemere’s mission and vision.
• Observes all Club safety practices and protocols.
• Performs other duties as designated by the Supervisor of Outside Operations & Professional Staff.
