Description
Work location: Woodland, CA
Schedule: Night shift - 10:00 PM- 6:30 AM
Pay: $21 - $23 shift differential ($1.5)
I - Job Purpose and Summary:
Ensure that products are produced according to company established guidelines and specification and regulatory compliance standards.
II - Key Accountabilities:
Laboratory: Responsible for monitoring laboratory space in regard to cleanliness and testing equipment (calibrations). Perform data entry and product release through inventory
management software. Prepare product samples and organize shipments to other laboratories.
Audits: Monitor plant activities (production, sanitation, maintenance, etc.), conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective / preventive actions for findings. Assist in preparing
materials for certification audits, customer audits, and 3rd party audits.
Food Safety: Promote exceptional food safety and product quality standards at all times through the adherence to, and improvement of, GMP and food safety and quality policies and standards, in order to have highest quality product for external customers.
Responsible for enforcing GMP’s, food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity in the workplace
Monitor Food Safety Programs (Kosher, GFCO (Gluten-Free), Organic, Non-GMO, etc.). Provide support and supervision of production staff to ensure program requirements are met. Ensure program deviations are investigated and corrective / preventive actions are implemented.
Problem Solving/Reporting/Continuous Improvement: Promptly relay information to QA Supervisor regarding shift accomplishments, problems or suggestions for improvement. Communicate food safety / quality information to production staff.
