Job DescriptionWhat are the main functions of this role?
- Working a buyer’s queue from start to finish (receipt of Purchase Requisition to delivery of material)
- Maintaining contact through email and phone with other Procurement agents, other Supply Chain personnel and with internal and external customers
- Success will be largely metric based. PO output, cycle time, managing of delinquent report, ticket processing time, customer satisfaction, etc..
- This position will require a mixture, however, day to day this position will be an individual contributor
- Bachelor's Degree
- US Citizenship
- 1 year related experience.
- Understanding of supply chain process
- Ability to adapt and change
- Ability to collaborate with teammates
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Financial acumen
- Experience with Government contracts, process and procedure preferred
- Experience with automation tools
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
