Title: Credit Review Officer
Location: NYC Hybrid
Compensation: $110,000 to $150,000 base Bonus
A leading Global Investment Bank is looking to hire a to join their Leveraged Finance Credit Risk Review team.
This position will work in a generalist capacity across the leveraged finance book in a portfolio management and credit review fashion. The team is aligned within their Investment Bank, rolling into the risk side of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead reviews to challenge and assess the financial strength of borrowers
- Assess and assign internal credit ratings to the portfolio
- Perform annual/quarterly reviews and continuous monitoring of designated portfolio coverage
- Provide consulting, advisory services or carry out special tasks at the request of key stakeholders, which are consistent with our function to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management controls, oversight and governance processes.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 7 years of relevant work experience within credit review, portfolio management, and/or leveraged finance
- Formal credit training is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar spaces are preferred
- Team player but able to work independently as well
- Self-Starter with strong organizational, written, & presentation skills
