Assistant Principal The Opportunity: PLA Assistant Principals are instrumental in supporting PLA’s vision, which includes creating an environment of high standards for our staff and scholars. As an Assistant Principal, you will work closely with the principal to manage all our campus functions, including education programs, office operations, scholar enrollment, personnel, and facilities.
As an Assistant principal, you will provide strategic leadership supporting the success and retention of our scholars and staff. You will assist the principal in the planning, coordination, and directing activities and programs related to the administration of our school. PLA leaders strongly believe in every scholar’s ability to succeed, and they work tirelessly to create a school experience that fosters success.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Current Administrators License
  • Proven success as an instructional leader
  • Experience in turnaround work
  • Entrepreneurial, positive problem solver with the ability to see opportunity in challenges
  • Clear judgment, a mature interpersonal style and the ability to drive collaborative decision-making processes

Compensation and benefits:
PLA School Leaders receive a base salary competitively aligned to the market. In addition to a base salary, PLA School Leaders receive:
