The OpportunityAs the Legal Operations Manager, Systems, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our legal department's technological and operational systems. Your expertise will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal operations through the strategic management of our legal technology platforms.
The RoleYou will drive the management of the Legal team's technology platforms, including evaluating new technology solutions and ensuring the technology framework is best in class. You will develop, manage and implement the Legal team's technology platforms, and will ensure that our systems are up-to-date, secure, and reliable.
Responsibilities
  • Lead projects to integrate legal systems with other business platforms within the organization
  • Provide data-driven insights to enable the Legal function to make informed decisions about the department's operations systems.
  • Lead update technology processes and solutions. Manage system maintenance and releases and upgrades.
  • Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and areas where technology can provide a solution.
  • Collaborate with legal team members and business stakeholders to identify technology needs and preferences.
  • Gather requirements for system developments and changes.
  • Collaborate with I&T to ensure system and roadmap alignment.
  • Lead the implementation and administration of enterprise-wide Legal systems.
  • Analyze the Legal strategy and source and implement new software to address business needs.
  • Drive complex integrations and large-scale data migration efforts.
  • Perform periodic tasks and data quality checks.
  • Manage technical issues and act as the point of contact for supplier customer success teams.
  • Manage tickets in vendor ticketing system.
  • Manage user access, design roles and profiles and perform user maintenance tasks
Your Skills And Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Additional Legal Tech degree and PMP or similar certification preferred
  • Six Sigma or Agile development experience is a plus
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal operations or project management, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with every part of the development life cycle - from requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with APIs or integration middleware.
  • Knowledge and experience in technology trends, best practices, and emerging solutions
  • International travel up to 10% may be required
